While traveling through Alappuzha, I was trying to get good vegetarian food for breakfast. Came to know about Udupi Kitchen and stopped there for the breakfast. Had Idly, Vada with Sambar and Chutney. Food is awesome. Had soft fluffy idlies and hot crispy vada. Sambar is typically the Udupi hotel kind of sambar. Other members of my family had Ghee Roas, Masala Dosa and Puri. All items were freshly prepared and nice. Coffee was good, but a little too sweet. Should have reduced the sugar in it. Restaurant is quite clean and tidy. Price is quite economical. Would definitely recommend this veg restaurant to all traveling to/thru Alappuzha.
