Visited Typically Indian Bar & Grill by MasterChef Nayanjyoti Saikia and it was a beautiful experience rooted in authenticity.Started with the Bamboo Shoot Chicken—light, aromatic, and full of flavour. For mains, we went with Fish Tenga with Rice, a classic Assamese dish made with Oou Tenga (elephant apple) and fresh river Catla. The fish was perfectly cooked and the curry had just the right tang.Dessert was the star — caramelised banana with banana cake and ice cream. Rich, warm, and well-balanced. A must-try!Special mention to Junmoni Nath who gave us excellent service. She patiently explained each dish and was super attentive throughout.Total bill: ₹1900 — very reasonable for the quality and setting. If you’re looking to try authentic Assamese flavours with a fine-dine twist, this is the place. Will definitely come back to try more!
