I was out on a date with a guy and we randomly decided to check Google Maps and Two Hungry Stoners stood out because of the quirky, out-of-the-box name. We arrived and initially I thought it was a very tiny space. But after we entered, we went down in the basement and I was pleasantly surprised to see how clean and unique the space was. THS has gravel flooring which gives it a really different texture when walking around. The place is spacious and well lit. It doesn't seem tacky or weird. I liked that the menu's first page showed the WiFi details and password.I ordered Paneer Peri Peri sandwiches and 2 KitKat shakes. I think there was only one server that night because we arrived quite late. Despite that, the service was prompt and we never felt bored or rushed. There was a play area with a pool table further inside, and you had to pay to play. I didn't, but I think that was quite nice. This place feels like a good spot to hang around with a group of friends.There was another exterior area, where people could choose to sit. The washroom was quite nice as well, clean and well-stocked with the necessary amenities. I would suggest having a bottle of moisturiser or lotion as well, for people who like to keep their hands moisturised after washing their hands with soap and water. Back to the food: It was alright. The sandwiches came with a side of fries and cheese dip. The fries were just the right amount of crunchy and the cheese dip was thick and smooth. The sandwiches however were a mess. They tasted great, but they were just falling apart too easily after every bite. I'm not sure what could be done about that. Something needs to be added to the sandwiches that acts as a glue to hold everything together. Maybe I'm just a sloppy eater, but I just found it disappointing that everything was slipping out and dropping on my clothes lol. It's not THS's fault though. But they can think about making the sandwiches a bit mess-proof for clumsy eaters like me.The shakes were nice and tasted like any other chocolate shake. I could feel chunks of KitKat inside although I was hoping we'd get two long bars of KitKat dipped in the shake in the fashion of a straw or something to visually get the message across that the shakes were 'KitKat' shakes.I would be visiting again. First impressions were really nice though!
