I recently visited Twilight Cafe on a weekday evening, hoping to enjoy a nice sunset as recommended in many reviews. Unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing. Upon arrival, we noticed a sign stating that only customers were allowed beyond a certain point, which felt unwelcoming. The property, though located in a beautiful area, was not well maintained. When we sat outside, a staff member came to take our order. As vegetarians, we found the options very limited, with only one vegetarian dish available—Gobi Manchurian. We ordered tea and asked for some time to decide on food. However, the staff insisted that they won’t serve tea if we don’t order food. We were asked either we order food or leave the property, despite there being only one other couple present in the whole property. Reluctantly, we ordered tea and Gobi Manchurian. Shortly after, the staff returned to inform us that the cauliflower was spoiled and suggested we order chicken or beef instead. This left us with no suitable options. What was supposed to be a pleasant evening watching the sunset turned into a disappointing experience. As a fellow business owner, I believe this is not the way to run a business. The ambience is pretty okay... But be ready to endure a bit of bad odour. The food is also nothing commendable. But it's not at all worth the money. It's expensive for the food and quality they provide there. When we asked for a menu, the guy said they don't have a prepared menu.. so we guess they just ripped us off. Only good thing is the sunset view and the lighting. Price per person: ₹200–400 Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
