The food is average,not so great as hyped in google reviews here. We went twice here. Once we returned due to extremely poor service. Even after 20min of ordering,neither coffee nor tea came. Pathetic service. Quite mismanaged. Second time we tried south India thali which was average. No taste and quantity was extremely less. The waiter,an old man had no manners. He was quite rude while taking order. Had disappointing experience here overall. We saw dosas,they looked good but couldn’t try due to extremely slow service. Food is decent but not authentic. When asked for fish curry, they put fish fry into curry and served it. Because we were in a hurry, we went ahead. It's not a good experience overall. I became a regular at True Thomas during my 5 days in Varkala. They have dishes from the North and the South and everything I ordered was delicious (still dreaming of the Kerala style veg curry). The staff is great and will serve you with a smile. Absolutely loved the look of the restaurant too!
