Review Title: “Trishna – Where My Soul Met Solkadi & Never Looked Back!”So I waltzed into Trishna, Kala Ghoda, thinking I’ll just have a decent seafood lunch and be on my way. Oh, how foolish of me. I wasn’t ready. My taste buds weren’t ready. My soul wasn’t ready.Let’s start with the legend – the Fried Bombay Duck. Crispy like it went to a spa and got exfoliated by the gods. Light, airy, not swimming in oil (hallelujah!), and more like crunchy fitters straight from a Konkan fairy tale. Each bite said, “I’m not your average fish fry, darling.”Then entered the Prawns Sukka. I thought I knew Sukka. I thought I’d seen it all. But this? A perfect coastal punch in the mouth—in the nicest way possible. Tangy, coconutty, dry yet juicy (how!?), packed with masala like it had secrets to tell. Full marks on quantity and flavor. Even my inner Konkan auntie whispered, “Beta, yeh toh asli hai.”And then… cue the dramatic music… the Solkadi happened.I took one sip and paused like a Bollywood hero seeing his long-lost love. I looked at my glass. The glass looked at me. It was a done deal. I chugged one, ordered another, and then did what any respectable adult would do—I parcelled two bottles. If you know, you know. Have been going to Trishna on and off. The food was sad this time. How can a restaurant mess up Prawn Koliwada but guess what they did. Prawn Gassi was below par. Bombil fry was good but Pomfret fry was DRY Not visiting for a long long time
