Honestly, one of the most budget-friendly bars in New Town! The happy hour deals are unbeatable and easy on the wallet. The food was great too. The only downside? The music—it’s way too loud! If you’re hoping to have a good conversation over drinks, this might not be the best spot. Otherwise, it’s a solid 4/5 for everything else! Traffic Gastropub at City Centre 2, Newtown, is hands down one of the best places in Kolkata to party and chill! I recently visited during their 8th birthday celebration, and the vibe was absolutely electric – great music, lively crowd, and offers that are too good to be true. They had kamikaze shots for just ₹8, LIIT for ₹88, and even a Scotch bottle for ₹8888! The food here is equally amazing – we tried the spicy and flavour-packed Dragon Fish, the fully loaded Chilli Chicken Pizza, the creamy and delicious Paneer Jhunjhunwala, and their signature Haate Gorom, which instantly reminded me of classic Kolkata street flavours. The service was quick, the staff was friendly, and the quirky interiors just add to the overall fun atmosphere. If you’re in or around Newtown, this place is a must-visit for great food, creative drinks, and an unforgettable night out! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
