Have heard a lot about Tovo Chennai, so went to try their Coimbatore outlet. It was a total disappointment. The expensive menu doesn’t translate for the quality of food. The signature infused chicken seemed stale and burgers also weren’t any great. Went to wash my hand and there was no hand wash liquid, I informed the staff incharge that there was no liquid and no action was taken. Looking at other reviews, this seems like a regular scenario in this joint. This is an absolute disaster. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₹2,000+ Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Ordered on Swiggy: Tried the overly hyped Tovo Infused Chicken with Mushroom and Onion Sauce, and it was a huge letdown. The taste was just okay, but the price is absolutely ridiculous for what we get. ₹899 for half a chicken with some sauce, mayo, and chili jam as sides—nowhere near worth it. At this price, I expected something much more special. Definitely wouldn’t recommend it! Service: Delivery Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₹800–1,000 Food: 1

Was a good experience overall but if you are visiting this place after seeing all instagram promoted videos then set your expectations low before going here. The infusion is a good concept and slow cooking is a healthy way which retains the nutrients to the maximum. But I felt the infusion which has been injected in the chicken wasn’t even hot by the time it was served to me. The flavour oozed out from inside the chicken which was a good experience but I am no fan of chicken drenched in cold sauce. Next time if I am visiting I would definitely ask for the chicken and the infusion to by really hot. The Bombay veg sandwich was Okay and we felt it’s not worth 300rs. The service guy was sloppy and served our order to the wrong table. Again he recovered it and served it to us. Hope it’s just a one off thing. The place has underground parking available.
