Besides there were alot of sports graffiti done on the walls which were pretty eye catchy. Along with it were footballs, basketballs and handballs stuffed in a net and a sober bar counter which gave a quirky touch to the whole atmosphere. Live screening of matches is something that you expect in a place like this, and it won't disappoint you either.
Well the seating are done into two parts - the indoor part has cozy queen sized sofas for comfort along with the open air seating. We opted for the sofas as we were in a mood to lay back and enjoy the match.
So what all did we hogg upon? We were in a mood to binge on finger food so we ordered for Cigar Rolls, Cheese Jalapeno Poppers, Parmesan Chicken Garlic Wings and Chicken BBQ Wings. We also ended up ordering for a Chicken BBQ Naanza and a BBQ Cottage Cheese Pizza.
CIGAR ROLLS were crisp and crunchy on the outside with spring roll like stuffing into it. I reckoned that they were spring rolls crafted in a cigar shape and hence a different name to it. I loved it anyways!
CHEESE JALAPENO POPPERS had a soft and crisp outer layer along with the cheesy punch. The flavours were perfectly mild just the way I expected it to be.
CHICKEN BBQ WINGS failed to impress me. It was tossed in BBQ sauce a bit excessively which ruined the flavours completely. I personally felt it had a unnecessary sweet flavour which didn't help it either.
PARMESAN CHICKEN GARLIC WINGS were okayish! Chicken wings were garnished with shredded parmesan cheese which looked attractive but the garlic punch I was expecting wasn't there at all. Instead all I could experience was burnt garlicky flavour.
BBQ COTTAGE CHEESE PIZZA was average. It didn't even feel like a pizza really. It felt as if a stale sabzi is put over the pizza base and served to us. And to top it off! The spices were whole and not powdered. Even the local pizza vendors do a good job at it, rightfully the worst pizza I have had!
CHICKEN BBQ NAANZA was no different! The chicken pieces were larger than you expect in a naanza and weren't spread properly. Dissappointed me again!
The service wasn't upto the mark as well. The staff was courteous and polite but but not so prompt. They took alot of time to clear the empty dishes inspite of telling them a couple of times.
All in all, this place didn't live upto my expectation. The ambiance was eye poppinly quirky, the food was below average, not what you expect from a place like this. The service was mediocre. Will I visit this place again? Heck! No!!
