Walked in and was escorted to the table very courteously. Nikil was excellent, giving us recommendation which I now would recommend to everyone. Food was very fresh and came on time. The complimentary bread with pesto and salsa was outstanding too

I have been going to Toscano since 2011, i think! Been a regular for so long that I cant even remember. We go every week or so. But the quality has deteriorated drastically in the last 1 or 2 years. The waiters don’t know food, drink pairings, no proper recommendations. The service is bad. Pastas are especially lousy. Overcooked and too salty. They don’t even ask how you would like your pasta done. I mean that is the most basic question at an Italian restaurant. The band on the weekends has also lost its charm. The songs are the same and the overall vibe is not premium anymore. Add to all this the huge price jump in recent times. Nothing is less than 700 bucks a dish. The have no tasting menus or samplers. The Chef doesnt come out and take real time feedback. I can tell you that Toscano of the past was a posh and immaculate dining experience. Now they want you to eat and leave. They don’t even wait for you to finish your drinks before serving the main course. We would sit for hours before. Have drinks, appetisers, main course, desserts and coffee languidly. For the price they charge, this is to be expected.
