I was hoping for a good food, as the ratings were quite good on zomato but was very disappointed.
I got to know about ‘Too Asian!’ while randomly scrolling through Zomato. The appetizing pictures of Sushi and the fact that the restaurant is a Zomato Gold partner made me visit the place (that’s a different story that we didn’t order Sushi).
To begin with, I had expected a much fancier restaurant. The place turned out to be a smallish eatery with 2-3 tables indoor and a few of them outside. However, I still had hope from the food. And I wasn’t disappointed.
We ordered shiitake mushroom Vietnamese roll and Japanese donburi fish. Both the dishes were decently presented. Vietnamese roll was fresh and crispy and was a perfect light on tummy appetizer. I tried Donburi fish for the first time and am glad we gave it a shot. The fish was wonderfully flavorsome and the schezwan rice was a perfect accompaniment to it. Scrambled eggs with any dish are always welcome :).
The service was quick and efficient, though I would have expected a few more smiles and energy.
Overall this seems to be my kind of place for oriental food. However, I would prefer ordering or going only on days when I am not looking for a ‘dining experience’ but only gorging on good food.
PS: Tip to the management: at least the washroom should be kept clean.
