Worst food ever. Not authentic at all and tastes very bland!! You get 4 pieces of sushi and they reply to your reviews claiming they serve 8 pieces of sushi! Their ramen noodles are also obviously instant noodles from maggi, buldak or other brands, including the broth! Atmosphere was good though. A bit cold but it's adjustable. Overall only good for posting pictures on instagram. Food is absolutely bad. I would not visit/recommend. Edit after owners reply: I never went THIS month, I went a few months back... Maybe around July or August... And another thing is that your noodles were definitely instant ramen noodles... Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₹2,000+

Dear Yuri,We’re sorry to hear about your experience. However, our restaurant has been closed since October 1st for renovation, so it seems there may be some misunderstanding or confusion regarding your visit. For your information, all our sushi rolls consist of 8 freshly made pieces, and our ramen is prepared using authentic Japanese broth and noodles, never instant ones.We truly value genuine feedback from real diners, and we look forward to welcoming everyone again after our reopening on October 20th with an updated menu and refreshed space.Warm regards,Team Tokyo BistroReply 2Dear Yuri,We appreciate your comment, but please refrain from making false assumptions. Our ramen noodles are freshly prepared, not instant. Also, your visit dates back months, and our menu, team, and recipes have evolved since then. We take pride in serving authentic Japanese cuisine, not shortcuts. We invite you to visit again after our reopening on October 21st to experience the real Tokyo Bistro standard before posting misleading remarks.Team Tokyo Bistro

This was a very bad experience. Would not visit again. First, we had ordered the Chicken Miso Soup which had TONS of cabbage in it, very small in portion and probably not even 200ml. Had very less tofu and chicken, half of it was filled with cabbage. And was ₹190 which was decent but not worth it for THAT quantity of soup. After that we had gotten the Spicy Tuna Mayo Roll and it took us 40+ minutes to get it. They had also "accidentally" served another table our sushi, unbelievable!! That made us wait another 20 minutes and got us to wait 1 hr for the sushi alone. It was also only 4 or 6 pieces for ₹450, CRAZY! Then we got the Chicken Teriyaki which was the best amongst all the other dishes. It had good flavour and everything else, spice and sweetness were both 50/50. Only problem was it was around 6 - 10 pieces and a few veggies on the side along with mushroom. ₹420 was too much for it but ok, acceptable. We then ordered the Cheesecake which tasted like regular cheesecake and was kind of bland. The syrup (which I think is caramel) was also sticky and had a type of weird scent. I don't remember the price. After that we got Chanponmen which was really bland and the broth was very less too. It didn't have much chicken or seafood on it like mentioned. The portion was also SO LESS for ₹420. Total I had paid ₹1,410 (not including cheesecake and tax) which was absolutely crazy for such a bad experience. This was around 8 - 6 months ago and I'm not sure if it has improved or not but I'm not sure if I will come back here. Please do NOT visit this place. HORRIBLE. Dear Sophia,Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. While we're sorry to hear you didn't have the experience you hoped for, we would like to gently clarify a few points to ensure there's no misunderstanding for future guests. All of our sushi rolls are served with 8 pieces, never 4 or 6, and we maintain consistent portion standards across our menu. We're also surprised by some of the details mentioned, such as the reference to "my wife driving" in a review posted under your name which may suggest there has been some confusion or misrepresentation. That said, we genuinely value every review as an opportunity to grow. Since 8 months ago, we’ve made significant improvements in service timing, communication, and consistency in dish execution. We’ve also been refining our menu and training our team to avoid the very issues you described. We welcome you to visit again to experience the positive changes for yourself. Should you choose to do so, please feel free to speak with our manager, we’ll be happy to ensure you have a far better experience.Warm regards,Team Tokyo BistroInstagram: @itstokyobistro
