Did I eat at Toast Pasta Bar? No. Was I looking forward to it? Yes! Did I feel like sticking around for a meal once I spoke to the front desk? Absolutely NOT! I booked a table on District with INR 1000 cover charge. We braved terrible weather and reached the joint pretty much on time dreaming of tiramisu and truffle infused carbs & proteins. Upon reaching, we were curtly informed that sure you have a table but outside. The inside tables are all spoken for. Mind you, the tables inside were empty, this was right after the sky had belched rain, it was sticky and humid and oh, just another small thing, we paid to book a table! With an array of empty tables inside we were told our District booking only gets us a table outside. There was no stipulation like this mentioned on District and the restaurant certainly did not mention it on WhatsApp when they reached out to confirm the booking. The whole attitude was so, take it or leave it, that we said goodbye to the 1000 bucks (joyfully because who wants to eat at a place with such an attitude!) and just left. Safe to say my first impression of TPB has left me disappointed, angry and I am not going back anytime soon. Folks, reading this, I am sure the food is great, but even before getting to that, we had a very sour experience. Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Price per person: ₹1,000–1,200
