When my friend asked for a place to enjoy authentic Telugu home-style meals, without a second thought, I took them to Tilak's Kitchen.Every time I visit, I don’t even need to look at the menu—I simply order the veg meals. As soon as you place the order, they serve you a bowl of crispy papads. The meal includes a sweet, 2 flavored rice varieties, 4-5 curries, sambar, and curd. Mixing hot rice with ghee, dal curry, and a spoonful of avakaya pickle—there's nothing like it! Just talking about it makes my mouth water. And don't even get me started on the roti and chutney combo—it needs no introduction! At ₹290 per meal, I haven't tried other dishes yet, but for the meals alone, I can 100% recommend this place.
