We stopped by Thomson Bakers & Restaurant for lunch on our way back from a trip to Vagamon. The place was quite crowded, which gave us the impression that it’s a popular spot among travelers. We opted for the traditional Kerala meals, which were really satisfying and well-prepared. However, the fish and chicken dishes didn’t quite hit the mark. They were heavily flour-coated, which took away from the natural flavor and texture we were hoping for. On the other hand, their beef fry and duck roast were impressive—rich in flavor and cooked just right. In summary, it’s a decent restaurant for a traditional meal, particularly if you enjoy beef or duck, but it may not offer the best value if you’re looking for a more balanced overall dining experience.
