Firstly, the truck is more of a food cart rather than a food truck with no proper safety in material handling or gloves, hair nets etc. A huge difference from the recent additions to the food truck scene of the city. Coming back to the product, we ordered the Fighter Chicken which was highly recommended by the staff at the truck stating that it is healthy and spicy.
The product was basically Chicken Tikka that was tossed in Schezwan Chutney and served with a side of Green Chilli Coriander Chutney and a Salad that comprised of Julliene Cuts of Cabbage leaves with guest appearance of some Beets and Carrots.
The tikkas were slightly under-cooked and under-seasoned, the topping of the schezwan chutney was fair but seemed more like a ready made version. Reminded me of something like spicy buffalo wings (God I wish someone served Baked Chicken Wings that can be tossed in a spicy sauce).
The salad was not seasoned and tasted bland (Thoda Bland!)
The accompanying chutney was okayish.
The reason I am blabbering in this excruciating detail about this entire experience is that this disappointment cost us a whole INR 260 for 6 pcs of this mediocre, medium sized, inappreciable product.
You guys have a good thing going on. Make use of it. Try to incorporate good products that are well priced. Customers will flock to your place like Migrant birds.
