This confectionary restaurant provides you with nice food and a place to rest after a long walk around Ernakulatthappan Temple. It's a pleasant experience to try nicely cooked payasam. The patient staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place wonderful. Service at Thirumeni's Payasam is something one can call nice. The lovely atmosphere is to be found here. This place has received Google 4 according to the visitors' opinions.

"Overall, I had a great experience at Payasam Shop! The taste was amazing, and the quality of the ingredients was top-notch. Only downside was that the payasam wasn’t as thick as I expected, but it still tasted fantastic. Definitely recommend for anyone craving a delicious, authentic dessert!"

Thirumeni payasam was in my list, Good place if you visiting kochi and want try the tradition kerala payasams in one place. They had more than 8 types of payasams I tried two both were very good and served warm. The cups can be of better quality. They gave 1lts and half ltr containers as well again the takeaway packaging could be better as its too flimsy for carrying in flights.

My experience with Thirumeni's Payasam on Durbar Hall Road yesterday (Vishu) was a letdown. I purchased 1 liter of ഗോതമ്പു പായസം (Gothambu Payasam / Wheat payasam) for ₹300, hoping for a traditional Vishu treat. Unfortunately, the payasam was far from satisfactory. It tasted very watery and lacked the rich sweetness of jaggery and the creamy texture of coconut milk, which are essential for a good Gothambu Payasam. It didn't live up to expectations at all.
