Disappointing Experience – Urgent Need for Improvement I recently visited Third Wave Coffee with my wife and, unfortunately, had a very disappointing and unacceptable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were not greeted by any staff, setting a poor tone for the visit. We ordered two breakfast combos and asked to scan our rewards via the app. The staff flatly stated it wasn’t applicable, offering no explanation or effort to assist further. The situation worsened when a server accidentally dropped a banana walnut tea cake on my wife, leaving a stain on her dress and breaking the plate. While he did apologize and brought a replacement, I was appalled to find a strand of hair in the new cake. I brought this to the staff’s attention. Though they replaced it again, there was no acknowledgment for the repeated inconvenience and lack of hygiene. This entire experience fell far below basic service and cleanliness standards. I am writing this not only to express our dissatisfaction but to strongly urge management to take accountability and implement immediate staff training and stricter hygiene protocols. Such negligence affects both customer trust and the brand’s reputation. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and improvements are made to ensure future guests are treated with the level of service and care they rightfully expect.
