Ordered sandwiches and cake via Zomato. First they called up and said some sandwiches weren’t available, you apply for refund on Zomato . I did that . But I did not open the cake box , kept it in the fridge . After an hour , when we wished to cut the cake , I realised Theobroma had sent the wrong cake and of a lower value. I had ordered Dutch Truffle cake , what I received was Mango cream cake. Called up Theobroma support, after a long conversation back and forth from support to outlet , they said they cannot replace it as ordered via Zomato . Zomato did not allow a second refund on the same order via app. So ultimately we were left with a cake which no one was interested in on our anniversary eve. So either Theobroma is understaffed and cannot read the orders correctly or they simply don’t care as they are flying high on their brand name. The audacity to charge ₹130 for a 2x3 inch piece of brownie is crazy man I also recieved it with icing, a chocolate square and fondant on top. Tasted just like a very dense chocolate cake. Tried to remove the chocolate square and half the brownie stuck to it anyway. Waste of money. Pretentious ass bakery.
