After seeing Guruvayur Temple, it may be a nice idea to visit this restaurant. The Chinese and Indian menus attract visitors looking for a new experience. Most likely, you'll return to Mayura Residency later to order good coffee.
It's easy to find this place due to the great location. Most reviewers find the staff hospitable. People say that the service is fine here. A number of guests mark that prices are reasonable for what you receive. Spectacular decor helps the clients relax. But clients rate this spot below average on Google.

My family and I had a pleasant 2 night stay at Mayura. The whole experience right from the moment we arrived was warm and welcoming. The staff here was very efficient and made my family feel valued and comfortable throughout the stay. A special word of appreciation for Vineetha and Shijina, who were managing the hotel during our stay. They were super warm, personable, and attentive to all our needs (even before asking). They took good care of my daughter and even surprised her with a small gift during checkout (which she loved)! I really wish more people in the hotel business were like them. The hotel itself is only a 2 minute walk away from the Nada. It is a very peaceful and convenient location. Our room was spacious and clean, and had everything we needed. Room service was prompt and we never had to wait more than 5-10 minutes anytime we placed an order (thanks Vineetha!). The restaurant offers a limited menu, but we found the food (esp the thali) fresh and tasty. Parking is plenty, and the security staff was very courteous and friendly as well. I am quite surprised by some of the negative reviews, but it looks like they are from many years ago. Our experience was really good, and I had absolutely no complaints. I would very highly recommend Mayura Residency over many other comparable hotels near the Nada for anyone visiting Guruvayur.

I had a very disappointing stay at Mayoora Residency. I booked a suite room, expecting at least decent standards, but what I got was far worse than even a basic lodge. The bathrooms were in terrible condition – dirty, and clearly not maintained properly. The toilet was stained, the fittings were old or broken, and there was no sign of proper cleaning. It was honestly unhygienic and unacceptable, especially for the price they charge. Overall cleanliness throughout the room was poor, and maintenance seemed completely ignored. For something labeled a “suite,” the experience was nowhere near worth the cost. Would not recommend this place – definitely overpriced for what you get. Avoid if you care about cleanliness and basic comfort.
