It's worth coming to this restaurant for good curry dessert, payasam and creamy dessert. This place is famous for delicious rose gin, indian wine or creamy beer. Great mint lemonade, fresh juices or house punch are worth trying here.

Authentic South Indian, Best for Non-VegNothing comes close to the variety and uniqueness this place offers. Been here 5-6 times, and the food is consistently the same no surprises. While they have options for everyone, it definitely feels better suited for non-veg lovers.

My visit to Tanjore Tiffin Room was long due and I finally happened to give it a try on a Sunday.It was mad packed and I reached way before the slot I had booked for, but the host was kind enough to accommodate us.What I tried:1. Karaikudi Fried Prawns: MUST TRY2. Virgin Pondicherry Punch (Mocktail): Refreshing, but you can skip or try something else also3. Madras Railway Curry with Prawns: I am going back for this curry, for sure!4. Appam and Malabar Parotta: to go with the curry. 5. Coconut rice: to go with the curry again5. Ada Pradhaman: A dessert to end on a sweet note, now I haven't tried the OG one, but this still felt just right.The best part is they give you little portions as Tasting Menu and patienty explain what it is, what would go best for it.I really wanted to try the Stew also, but the portion size for curry was very much enough for 2 people. so maybe next time.
