We stayed here for a couple of nights in September booking three rooms. This is a delightful village home stay just outside Palampur city limits ,so it’s peaceful but within east reach of Dharamsala as well. It’s amazingly clean and peaceful and with fresh farm grown vegetables at every meal it’s almost like a detox. If you stay long enough Shamsher Thakur the owner might take you down to the Neugal river so you can savour the peaceful village life of Himachal. Unsurprisingly this is a popular place with Palampur residents who want a weekend break so if you’re planning to go on a weekend make certain you book in advance. The stone hut is cool in summer and warm in winter but there’s both heating and air conditioning available if you want it still cooler or hotter. Rooms and bathrooms are clean and food simple but with a robust fresh flavour. And you can see gorgeous sunsets and sunrises year round even if you’re out all day! Strongly recommended but remember this is a village home stay not a delux hotel Rating 5/5 Service: 5
