Come here for some rest after a long walk around Himalayan Mountaineering Institute. The hospitable staff meets you at Spice Route Restaurant & Cafe by Amalfi all year round. One of the best places I have visited on my tour of Darjeeling Classic ambience,finger licking food and the most polite and loving people I have met here all this makes this place a must visit.

Cute restaurant / cafe with free WiFi (much appreciated!) near the Tenzing Rock. My entree (chili chicken) was excellent, my parents’ veggie thali was deemed decent but not spectacular. I think with a few touch ups this can be one of the leading restaurants of the area!
