The Salt Cafe in Agra offers a dining experience that blends flavorful cuisine with a few notable drawbacks. While my visit to this establishment was marked by both positives and negatives, there are several aspects worth mentioning. There was a view of the Taj Mahal in the distance. For good, the butter chicken I had at The Salt Cafe was undeniably delicious. One significant drawback of dining at The Salt Cafe roof top was the presence of mosquitoes, which detracted from the overall experience. Additionally, many of the staff seemed preoccupied with their phones rather than focusing on providing attentive service to diners. Upon leaving, we discovered that The Salt Cafe had another floor below, which we were unaware of during our visit. This discovery led us to wonder if opting for the lower floor would have provided a more comfortable dining experience, especially given the mosquito issue on the rooftop.
