Visited Red Ginger in Colva, South Goa, and had a good dining experience overall. We tried the cranberry drink, which was refreshing and well-balanced. The chicken bao was soft and flavourful, the spinach, corn & water chestnut dimsum was light and fresh, and the raw papaya salad was tangy with a nice crunch. Food quality and presentation were excellent.However, one thing felt odd and uncomfortable — there was no printed menu offered to Indian guests, and we were asked to scan a QR code for the menu, while printed menus were readily provided to foreign nationals. This came across as unnecessary and borderline discriminatory, which slightly took away from the experience.That said, the food itself was excellent, and if service practices are made more uniform, this could be a really good Asian dining option in Colva, South Goa.

The Red Ginger serves truly authentic Thai food, and whenever we crave Thai cuisine, we don’t look anywhere else. We’ve been coming here multiple times, and this place has never disappointed. The service staff are extremely well-trained, the bartender is spot-on and does a fantastic job with the cocktails, and the food is nothing short of a foodgasm. Pro tip: Check Zomato offers — 30% off on weekdays and 20% off on weekends.
