The menu of this restaurant is recommended to Chinese cuisine lovers. Take your family with you to eat tasty fried chicken, momos and chicken and rice. At The Red Box, you can get a takeaway. The friendly staff demonstrates a high level of quality at this place. Fine service is something visitors appreciate here. A lot of reviewers suppose that the dishes are offered for adequate prices.
Taste & Variety: It was great to know that they have expanded their menu and there is more to choose from. Besides their noodle or rice bowl with gravy they also have included more starters and rice/noodle varieties. So I got Veg spring roll and veg schezwan fried rice with chilli cauliflower bowl.
The veg spring roll was a NO and a disaster for me. It’s definitely the readily available packed rolls that they have served and it was way too oily; also the taste was total disaster. The chutney or sauce they gave was the saviour; and I felt Rs.95 for just three rolls was too much to pay, even the taste didn’t justify the price. I loved the schezwan fried rice, it was oily but the taste was really good but the chilli cauliflower was very mediocre.
Quality & Quantity: The portion is apt for a person and with respect to the packing I love it but the food is very oily and it makes you feel heavy. It would be great if they could concentrate on the quality and taste of their food.
Price: Compared to other Chinese outlets I find their pricing affordable, also their portion size and packing justifies the price. But the starters like momos or spring roll is priced very high for a smaller portion. I paid Rs.200 INR for the above said item.
The Red Box will come handy for eating on-the-go.
