The roof bar has a good view on the left side. Everything else is a washout. Watered down drinks, obsequious service that’s unhelpful. Go to the Bamboo bar in Savera. Meal type: Other

For a complete South Indian dinner experience, flavors, spice balance, ritual, and live Bharatanatyam, The Raintree at Taj Connemara operates at a different tier. I would call it 7 star experience. I ordered wheat and Malabar parotta, Chettinad chicken, and pepper chicken. The food delivered coherence, spices aligned, heat restrained, flavor intent clear. This is food that connects, not overwhelms. The complementaries, Rasam, fryums, and chutneys were sharply executed, mouth-watering, clean, and better with each bite rather than fatiguing the palate. The meal closed with complimentary paan. As a paan connoisseur, expectations were specific. They were met without compromise. Must try this out. Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
