worst cafe w worst policies! I had my bday celebration today at pluvian, my friends bought a cake for me. The owner or manager came to tell me that their policy includes that no outside cake is allowed but she was making an "exception" that if we get the bill above 1500 or if we buy their in-house cheesecake slice, then I'll be allowed to cut and have my own bday cake! no offense to having *no outside food* policy but the least is that they can let cakes be an exception

We strictly follow this, otherwise it demeans what we are trying to build and the products that we offer to our customers. We understand that it was your birthday, and an occassion for celebration. We typically offer a dessert of our guest's choice in this case, which is free of cost. However, we inform at the start itself that cutting an outside cake is not allowed. Have visited The Pluvian for breakfast with friends a couple of times and it instantly became one of our new favorites in Kothrud. The cafe has a calm, aesthetic vibe with warm interiors, perfect for catching up or working over coffee. Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and well-presented.
