Recently, I had a very disappointing experience at a restaurant that I had been looking forward to trying for quite some time. Unfortunately, from the moment we arrived, things started to go wrong. First, despite having a reservation, we had to wait nearly 25 minutes for a table. The staff seemed disorganized, and no one offered an explanation or apology for the delay. Once we were finally seated, it took another 15 minutes for a server to even acknowledge us and bring menus. By this point, we were already frustrated and hungry. When we placed our order, the waiter seemed distracted and rushed, which made us uneasy. We had to repeat our order twice, and sure enough, when the food arrived, two out of the four dishes were incorrect. We sent them back politely, but instead of fixing the issue promptly, it took another 30 minutes for the right food to come — and by then, the rest of us had already finished eating. To make matters worse, the quality of the food was well below average. The pasta was overcooked and bland, the chicken was dry, and the vegetables were under-seasoned. For the prices they were charging, the food was extremely disappointing. On top of that, one of the glasses we were given had lipstick stains on it, clearly not cleaned properly. That raised serious concerns about the hygiene standards of the restaurant. Throughout the meal, it was almost impossible to get the attention of the staff. They seemed understaffed and unbothered by customer complaints. Even when we asked for the bill, it took another 15 minutes and they charged us for the items we never received. When we brought this up, there was no apology, just a silent correction and a new bill printed without a word. Overall, the entire experience was frustrating and far below expectations. Poor service, unclean environment, average (at best) food, and a lack of professionalism made this one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a long time.
