We had an overall very pleasant and comfortable stay at The Paal. The hotel is a perfect choice for travelers who prefer a peaceful and relaxing environment away from the noise and crowd of Mall Road. The valley views and calm surroundings made our stay memorable. The food was good, room service was prompt, and the staff was extremely welcoming and courteous throughout our stay. A special thanks to Mr. Ajay Thakur and the team members Ronnie, Devraj, and Danny for their hospitality and for making us feel at home. The rooms were comfortable, well-maintained, and the overall service experience was smooth. A few suggestions that could further enhance the guest experience: • During our stay, the room power backup system was under repair. Fortunately, this did not impact us much, as there was only one brief power outage. However, once fully operational, it will add to guest comfort. • It would be helpful if the washrooms included a basic dental kit and either a larger bathing soap or liquid soap dispenser. We had to purchase some essentials from the market on our first morning. • We accidentally damaged one of the room keys while unlocking the door and were charged ₹700 for its replacement. While we respected the hotel's policy, it may be helpful to communicate such charges more clearly to guests at check-in. Overall, these are only minor areas for improvement and did not significantly affect our experience. We genuinely enjoyed our stay and would recommend The Paal to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in Shimla with good hospitality, tasty food, and a warm, helpful staff. Service: 4

We recently stayed at Hotel The Paal in Shimla. It is around 15 km away from Mall Road, so the area is very peaceful and less crowded. The food is good and the staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are neat and clean. Overall, a nice place for a calm and relaxing stay. Service: 4
