A pathetic tourist trap on the way to the Shore Temple in Mahabalipuram. The place looks clean and decent from the outside, but don’t be misled. Our group of four stopped by and ordered four “filter coffees” (had a picture of traditional filter coffee outside) and two large water bottles. The first red flag? They served sugar separately—something no place serving real filter coffee would do. Then, instead of the traditional steel tumbler, they brought it out in mugs. But the real disaster was the taste—this wasn’t filter coffee at all. It was nothing more than weak Nescafé instant coffee dumped into lukewarm milk. We somehow, with great difficulty, funneled the concoction down our throats and asked for the bill—only to be hit with another shock:₹70 per coffee and a ₹10 upcharge over the MRP for the water bottles. I wouldn’t have minded paying if the beverages were actually palatable. When I confronted the owner about this, he blurted something obscure about taxes. Overall, this place is best avoided. Amazing food! The whole experience from start to finish is great waitress is always so friendly and kind. The food can’t get better and the prices are fair for the portion size. Always a great spot to get great food.I can strongly recommeded to this restaurant
