Meraki is a hidden gem of a cafe. The food is fresh and healthy - A mix of Indian and western options, with sweet treats to boot. My favourite was the spinach mushroom pizza with yaks cheese but we worked our way through most of the menu and were never disappointed. The cafe is set in a traditional building that stays cool, providing sanctuary from the heat and a much more authentic mountain experience than the concrete new builds that now plague the valley. Meraki is run by an incredibly friendly team, Krishna made us feel like family. Food is priced to make you stay longer and ensure you come back. A refreshing reminder of how warmly a business can be run in a world which so often prioritises profit over all else.
