The hallmark of this restaurant is serving nicely cooked chicken sushi, dumplings and Dim sum. You can enjoy live music in the evening. The staff is said to be attentive here. Service at The Maroon Room is something one can call terrific. According to the guests' opinions, prices are good. Staff need to be trained better. Waitress got my order wrong, (which is understandable, she didn’t write anything down- so memory can fail you) what bothered me was that she went on to accuse me of not knowing what order i had placed. I told her that i had ordered something else, so i returned the order . She then later came with another employee who might have been the manager, and they then say “You ordered this , but you’re now saying that you didn’t order it. ” the same waitress then continued about how she repeated our order to us, and i agreed. But when she repeated it (while we were placing the order) , she repeated it correctly. Human error is understandable. But the way it was handled was not acceptable. I honestly just looked at the manager , wondering if he just wanted to force me to drink it .. because that’s how it felt the way they were confronting me. Suggestion- Just write your patrons’ orders down. Don’t blame your customers for the server’s shortcomings. Side note - Garlic butter calamari was fantastic.

The place is extremely gorgeous ! I had been there for the first time and would love to come again . The service is truly amazing . All the respected people starting from the entry gate , the girl at the entry gate , the waiters and the waitresses gave me an excellent service which hard to put into words . I just loved the whole restaurant and everything about it . The food is also beyond perfect ! Highly delicious. I am truly excited to visit again . Thank you ,The Maroon Room .

Maroon Room cheated me and billed around Rs 750/- extra as service charges (Voluntary) without even asking me. Already GST was included in the bill.

This happened during last Durga Puja. As such I no more recommend this restaurant to anyone neither we book it for personal events. Further for the amount they charge for the items, actual quantity served is less. I request owners to kindly introspect. If they are honest they should refund me the extra money charged. Initially I thought of posting this incident in social media, then I thought if would impact the reputation. So I didn’t post along with money receipt.
