The place was the goto place for our group as the food was decent and pocket friendly. But lately it has been very ill managed and food quality and standards have gone downhill. The interiors are dark and unpleasant. This place has the potential to be better only if they invest in proper interiors and consistency in quality.

Some places are underrated for no reason. If you ask me about food in Malgudi Days, they are no less. All they lack is a decent ambiance. I really appreciate their service and behaviour, rare thing to find in Kanpur restaurants. I am a big fan of their bhuna gost and cream of mushroom soup. Their daal fry with plain rice go awesome together. They also tempt me with their garlic chicken and special fried rice. Best place for the end of month when you feel even more hungry and your wallet betrays.
