Recently, we celebrated our 14th wedding anniversary and sought a venue with a pleasant ambiance. Following recommendations and reviews, we selected The Labyrinth Lakefront We arrived at 5 pm to witness the sunset and took advantage of the relatively vacant space for a photoshoot. With our first agenda item (and my main ) complete, we proceeded to the second - dining. Unfortunately, they do not serve alcohol, which I had overlooked in the reviews. We ordered Crispy chicken, Mushroom-Spinach bruschetta, Quesadilla, and Cottage cheese steak, accompanied by mocktails. Our dining experience was mixed. The crispy chicken arrived promptly (within seconds) but it was a previously canceled thanda order which they tried to chipkofy to us. We got it exchanged for a fresh one. Our child enjoyed the dish. The bruschetta was excellent, retaining its crunch, while the quesadilla was disappointing, dominated by chili oil and lacking cheese. We returned the dish. The cottage cheese steak took considerable time to arrive but was decent and filling. As we concluded our evening, we encountered unwelcome visitors - roaches and a mole rat. Surprisingly, management was nonchalant about their presence. If you plan to visit the place, you may consider these factors and also, the approach road is pathetic to say the least. We read about the road conditions in many reviews but we still went ahead but now I know what they actually meant by it.
