I’m writing this review to share a deeply troubling experience with the renowned brand, The Belgian Waffle Co. Recently, I ordered a waffle from their outlet at Rajkamal Square Patiala, expecting the usual high quality they are known for. However, to my shock and disgust, I discovered a live insect inside the packaging. Finding an insect in food is not just an issue of cleanliness; it poses a significant health risk. Contaminated food can lead to a variety of illnesses, including food poisoning, gastrointestinal infections and allergic reactions. Consuming such food can expose individuals to harmful bacteria and pathogens that the insect might carry, resulting in serious health consequences. The presence of an insect in the packaging raises serious concerns about their quality control and hygiene standards. For proof of this unacceptable contamination, I have attached a video clearly showing the insect inside the packaging. This evidence underscores the severity of the issue and highlights the need for immediate corrective action from The Belgian Waffle Co. Please reconsider purchasing from this brand until they have addressed and rectified this serious quality control lapse. Price per person: ₹1–200
