This bar and Krishna Temple can be both really attractive for tourists. If you are fond of Italian and Mediterranean cuisines, come to Coffee Island. To taste perfectly cooked grilled chicken, mushrooms and fajitas is a truly good idea. Nothing can be better than ordering good ice cream. It's time to degustate delicious beer.
The terrific staff demonstrates a high level of hospitality at this place. Cool service is something visitors like here. Pay adequate prices for eating at this spot. You will certainly appreciate the quiet ambiance and cute decor. But this bar isn't given a high rating on Facebook.

The management was nice enough to allow us to hang up some small decorations around our table. We chose the premium package which is 1200/- plus taxes. The orders for drinks were placed and starters were brought to the table. The food was nothing exceptional to write home about. The only hits on the table were the pizzas- veg and chicken and the fish starter. Most others were insipid in their taste and lacked flavour. After a couple of rounds of drinks the waiter offered to bring us a round of shots, which we readily agreed to, considering it was a party and we were out to have a fun time. While the waiter was right in approaching one of us at the table to mention that the shots weren't part of the brunch, he didn't bring us a menu to choose our shots from. Since we asked for jäger bombs off hand, he brought 12 of those to our table! The afternoon went by and when we asked for the cheque, we were rather shocked to see that the bill was 27050/- odd. On asking for the menu, we found that the shots were priced at 800/- plus taxes each and finding it to be rather exorbitant, we went up to the manager to speak about the same. Our argument was that the waiter should have confirmed our order by showing it to us in the menu, which is what is usually done elsewhere when we've asked for something off the set package. We felt 800/- for those shots was way too much and we may or may not have ordered the same if the menu was given to us. The reply of the waiter was, and I quote "if people like you come to places like this, you should know what a jäger bomb costs." He even said " I didn't tell you the cost because it is cheap to bring up cost when you're placing an order." Absolutely shocked by such a response we demanded to speak to the manager, Mr. Girlish, who was just as callous with his responses, after admitting that the waiter erred in not giving us the menu. In turn, we were subjected to a lecture on cost price and industry rates of red bull and some other equally disconnected particulars!! Thereafter, I spoke to the general manager, Mr. Manoj, on the phone who assured me that the error was on part of the waiter and especially in the way we were spoken to by him and that he would handle the issue. There was an absolute miscommunication amongst the management and we were left waiting and debating for close to an hour. In the meanwhile, the same waiter, Dheeraj (I think) walked up to us and said "Settle the bill soon, my shift is coming to an end"! This is the first place we have ever been spoken to in such a manner by a waiter! Ultimately it wasn't even about being charged that amount for a shot, the issue was how badly they handled the situation instead of being reasonable and providing a better solution. Their attitude, right from the waiter to the general manager, who assured us they would do something but never communicated that to his staff at the restaurant, was absolutely appalling. After a point we couldn't even get through to his number and the manager at the restaurant said something to us on the lines of- let the GM say whatever, I won't give you a reduction. He even went on to say - I was considering giving you a discount but now with your behaviour I won't even give you that! After much debate and exchange of heated words, they ultimately gave us a reduction of Rs. 200 on the shots and the final bill was 23,050/-, after the manager had said he would give us a 50%off on the shots! Since we didn't want to create more of a scene we settled the bill and walked out.
I sincerely hope the management takes note of this issue and instructs its staff better on how to behave with customers. After a point it just seemed like they were taking advantage of a group of girls who they thought knew nothing! It wouldn't have become such an issue if they had handled the situation better. We would have gladly settled the bill and been done with the brunch, with happy memories of the afternoon. The price of the shooter wasn't ultimately as much the bone of contention was as much as their attitude towards us! Their abysmal and high handed behaviour completely dampened our spirits! Even the brunch, without the shooters, which ultimately came up to roughly 1700/- per head, I thought wasn't worth it. There are other places in the city that offer brunches at the same price, with better music, food and definitely much better service!!
