Visited the house of glass for the first time today for dinner and ordered butter chicken, bhuni saag ki bhindi, mutton biryani and a couple of butter naan.

Butter chicken - if I had to describe the preparation in one word it'll be "meh", being the chef special I expected it to be amongst my top 5 butter chicken ever had but sadly it couldn't make the list and what's up with the quantity of chicken, a chicken sandwich contains more chicken than the dish itself and it's supposed to be a main course.

Bhuni saag ki bhindi - this dish is the sole reason I've given them a 3 star rating, one of the best spinach preparations I've had in a restaurant, there's something special about this preparation that can't be described in words. A must try and will surely come back for more.

Safron Mutton Dum Biryani- this is where the entire dinner experience went bad, I had expected a lot since it's a chefs special and was nothing more than a disappointment. It was more of a pulao than a biryani, the rice wasn't cooked well, no biryani fragrance, wasn't cooked in dum, wasn't served with salan or any raita as mentioned in their menu.

"Unchi dukaan fika pakwaan" Is how I'll sum up the food.

I could stay here all day. This view is breath taking. I loved sipping my hot toddy and biting into a crispy yummy pizza . This is any tourists dream. I am a hill lover and this was a great joy for me. Have visited Shimla many times but this time felt different. Nice musical vibe and a good ambience. The cocktail service could have been faster though as it took time . We sat here for three to four hours and couldn’t get enough of the view.
