This review is specifically for people with PETS. They allow pets but are definitely not pet “friendly”. They will provide boiled chicken for your pet but will charge the same amount as a starter which comes up to ₹600. They don’t even talk nicely while explaining why they charge exorbitantly because there simply isn’t any way to justify it. Also in terms of ambience, Thursdays are live music days but it becomes a nuisance. It is very loud for such a small space, so much that it becomes difficult to speak to each other on the table. When asked to lower the volume a little bit, the only response is “SORRY”. So they’re not accommodating, will charge exorbitantly for simple boiled chicken and then even talk rudely. Food and drinks were also exorbitantly priced.

Hello, Rishieta! Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We would like to clarify that we currently do not have a dedicated pet menu at The Hoppery. On special request, we do prepare boiled chicken freshly for pets, which is why it isn’t a listed menu item. That said, your feedback on the pricing has been well noted and will certainly be reviewed. We also appreciate your observations on the live music volume and will ensure the team takes this into consideration to enhance guest comfort. We do hope you visit us again, and allow us to give you a much better experience. :)

It was my first visit to Hyderabad. I was excited to experience the craft beer scene here. Started off at The Hoppery - what a beautiful place! Lots of trees, indoor and outdoor seating, overlooking a lake, etc.. A place where I would love to come for a day long outing . They had six beers on tap. Tasted the steam lager, Cinnamon ale, and the IPA. The menu said the lager has floral and citrus aromas with predominance of grapefruit, so just out of curiosity I got a taster. The aromas reminded me of sugarcane maybe some lemongrass. Unfortunately, I didn’t find it as flavourful as I had imagined. The cinnamon ale had loads of cinnamon on the nose and the pallet, but otherwise a sweet ale, wasn’t for me, so skipped it. The IPA was fantastic. Settled for a pint. Lovely tropical fruit aromas and flavours, medium body, and finished dry. With a few more places to cover, I thought of moving on, but then the Stout caught my attention. Asked for a sampler, and boy! What a delicious beer! I’m so glad that I tasted this. Got a pint to satisfy the cravings . This had rich flavours of chocolate and coffee, and a fuller body and at 6.5 abv it got my nicely tipsy. I was tempted to get another pint, but hey I don’t drink so much and I had some more places to cover, so moved on
