Well visited this joint with a friend who had already visited it and he wouldn't disagree with my thoughts. Ambience was good with dim lighting and slight chinese touches. Now for starters we ordered honey chilly potato, crispy fried vegetables and drums of heaven. Rather dissappointed with the crispy vegetables not upto the mark. The chilly potato as you would normally find is along with some veggies but absent here. The worst part was the quantity. I felt it was way low. Drums of heaven as per friend were awesum and quantity was visibly good. I finally came to the conclusion that the chef had a problem with veg items which was solidified when we ordered their TGW noodles. Unlike a authentic chinese restro the taste was unacceptable; their paneer was stale and on iterating this via service he instead sent pieces of paneer for us to check which was evident and was reiterated then order cancelled and we asked for Hakka noodles which was ok but not what we expected. Service was not vigilant from a point of service as we had issues calling and they didnt have basic sense that vinegar etc needs to be served at the table also. Overall not a satisfactory experience.

Located at the sadar bazaar area, this place lies in the same place as 'MAMA FRANKY CHICKEN' just beside the famous Jahanpanah restaurant, It's the perfect restaurant for trying some authentic Chinese flavours... There are, indeed, very less options in Agra to try Chinese... I visited this place thrice, and finally, I have enough data to re-review this place!

Ambiance of the place is quite fascinating, dim lightening and lamps hanging from top. Prayer wheel just beside the gate and the walls full of chinese celebrities pictures. Seating is also quite comfortable - Couch for the large group at one side and chairs and table arrangements in the alley at the other side...

Food ::
For the starters, we had

1) Drums of Heaven - nice presentation and very tasty chicken pieces, very tender and perfectly spicy. Loved this dish!

2) Chicken Spring Roll - good stuff, the cook took his time for the dish, but waiting was worth it, nice spring roll was served to us. Perfectly crispy covering, filled with spicy chicken chunks...

3) Honey Chilli Potato - Potatoes were nice and crispy, perfect in spices. The only issue was that it was missing veggies and the portion served was comparatively less.

4) vegetable sizzler - not good, some vegetable pieces were actually burnt... Taste-wise also the dish was not good, Avoidable!!

For the main course, we tried -

1) Hakka noodles - tasted nothing like the actual Hakka noodles, served without any accompanying sauces... Dish was more like Taishan style noodles, the indo-chinese touch was missing. But edible stuff, average dish!

2) Chicken in Thai Green Curry - Must try dish, if you love Thai curry, you will definitely love this.. Perfect blend chicken pieces in a mouth watery gravy..

3) Garlic Steam rice - aromatic rice, flavour was very precise, suitable for my palate. Ample portion was served.

We were totally full, so didn't bother much for desserts and drinks, just tried the coffee once, which was good...

Overall service experience here is 3/5, for the first time, there was an elder person, who treated our demands very nicely and his recommendations were worth trying.
But, next time, there was young waiter, who knows nothing about food or hospitality. We have to personally ask the manager for the sauces with the noodles served here. And even replacement of TGW noodles, lit an argument which we just avoided somehow. Stale pieces of cottage cheese were there in the noodles, which we polity asked them to replace. But instead of accepting their fault, they kinda bring pieces to testify the taste. Come on, EITHER YOU ARE TOO DUMB TO KNOW HOW THE PANEER ACTUALLY TASTE/SMELL OR YOU DON'T WANT TO REPLACE THE DISH. But anyhow, they finally replaced it with hakka noodles.

Overall, the place is quite good and worth to visit. Cheerful ambiance and good food. Must visit, at least once to try something Chinese!
