After a walk around Kiran Nadar Museum of Art, many visitors stop by this restaurant. Here, you can find the recipes and ingredients of the Indian cuisine. This place provides food delivery for the convenience of its clients. Imagine a combination of tasty meals and the knowledgeable staff, this is exactly what this spot offers. The fine service is something these restaurateurs care about. Based on the guests' opinions, prices are adequate. From the visitors' viewpoint, the decor looks spectacular here. There is comfortable ambiance at this restaurant. On Facebook The Great Kabab Factory is given the rating of 4.2 stars.
We went to the restaurant with high hopes and expected a great fare considering the name of the brand and the prices. Rs. 1499/-++ per person.
Sadly enough the experience was far from satisfactory.
The food was simply very pedestrian. I mean you can get food of equal or better quality in any restaurant at one third the price. The chicken tikkas were large pieces and the chicken was greatly overcooked. You expect kababs to be soft, juicy and succulent but that was not the case here. The same goes for the main course. The items were very ordinary tasting leaving me scavenging for the chutneys to coat the kababs and make them somewhat tasty.
The desserts here were thankfully good. The phirni was chilled and creamy and the sheer had just right amount of sweet and flavor.
What surprised me even more that the staff did not enquire as to why there was so much left over on the plates.
I strongly feel that TGKF should go back to the drawing board and learn there strengths i.e. high quality of dishes and great service and improve upon their offerings.
