Excellent place to chill out with some liquor.. starters are next level, must try the prawns fry. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₹2,000+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Mutton Biryani, Drum Sticks, Prawns Fry, Chicken 65, Chicken Biryani, Tandoori Chicken

the golden cave restaurant and bar in ameerpet. in the mid to late 90’s this place was the only place in the in and around ameerpet for decent drinks and food. the place was notoriously famous for its mutton kali mirch kebab, kheema biryani, chicken majestic, loose fried prawns and fish fry. i have had the pleasure of patronising this place at that time and compared to urvasi bar ( downtown was the premium section) this was cheaper and served equally good food.

when me and my friend went to this place to relive the experience we were dismayed at the state of affairs, misplaced orders, tasteless food were the call of the day. the prawns was passable, fish fry was apollo fish, mutton talava was rubbery and tasteless. quietly finished my beer cleared the check and headed to another place for a satisfying dinner.

looks loke this one is fading with time. Sad to see this place in such a state. {uid:51039429}
