They don't serve alcohol!!! What's the freakin point of havin a lounge without alcohol.... Ridiculous... And it's classified under drinks and nightlife

Prior to going to the other restaurant for dinner, had a chance to witness the best bartending skills in The Gatsby Lounge.
We were shown the making of Martini, Negroni, Caipirinha among others.

We learnt a lot which was behind the making of these awesome drinks. The items like lamb & chicken delicacies that were served along with this were the icing on the cake.

While whiskey has been added to Caipirinha, Vodka to Martini , Gin with Negroni. Each was distinct/unique in its taste without making us go high. We of course had limited quantities considering dinner that is to follow next.

These were the Intercontinental Worldly Classics that has been introduced and is uniform across few of its properties spread across Asia. The Group - IHG leases, manages or owns nearly 5,100 hotels & more than 75,000 guest rooms in almost 100 countries. In India they have properties in Chennai & Mumbai.

Caipirinha is made from raw sugarcane spirit. They are traditionally flavoured with muddled limes, its potent, light & refreshing.

Negroni is the very definition of balance & simplicity. It's sweet yet bitter.

Martini should be stirred never shaken to retain its clarity & composure.

Loved the ambiance which is so calm & refreshing. We had the best that day and looking forward to it again :)

We group of friends were in the mood of having some drink and food, finally planed to visit Gatsby Lounge. It's located next to crocodile park, very nice exterior & interiors, the grand entrance looked similar to temple, staff's are very friendly they had a live music @ the lounge, the place was not so crowded on Saturday dinner. They had a special menu which is filled with cocktail combo menu with starter's, we choosed some cocktail and beer , we enjoyed the starters some lamb Kebab& gocmoula with some rice crackers& Soota prawns. Everything great, we have a plan to visit again.
