Let's start with the "service," which I use loosely. Our server seemed to be engaged in an intense staring contest with the back wall, only occasionally breaking eye contact to mumble something incomprehensible in our general direction. Asking for water felt like requesting a royal audience, and when it finally arrived, it tasted suspiciously like it had been filtered through a gym sock. The atmosphere? Imagine a dimly lit waiting room at a bus station, but with louder, more discordant music. The tables were sticky, the chairs wobbled, and the general vibe was one of profound, existential dread. I'm pretty sure the flickering fluorescent lights were actively trying to induce a migraine. And the food? Oh, the food. My "chef's special" tasted like sadness and regret, possibly with a hint of microwaved rubber. My companion's dish, which was supposed to be a vibrant pasta, looked like it had been excavated from an archaeological dig. The whole experience was so thoroughly unpleasant, I'm now questioning my life choices and considering a vow of silence. Avoid this place like a tax audit.
