Dining at this restaurant with a great view of Om Shakthi Temple will be a beautiful experience for guests. Vegetarian cuisine is offered at The Filter Coffee. It's worth visiting this place because of tasty idli, coconut chutney and sambar. You can share good pancakes, payasam and asida with your friends and have a good time here. Delicious wine is served at this spot. You will be offered good cold coffee or good dark coffee.

The hospitable staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place wonderful. This restaurant is remarkable for its nice service. Prices here are reported to be adequate. You will certainly like the pleasant ambiance and modern decor. 4.2 is what The Filter Coffee got from the Google rating system.

Visited Filter Coffee – clean and hygienic spot. We tried ghee podi dosa and kothu parotta. The dosa and sambar had authentic Tamil Nadu flavors, parotta was decent. Loved the live kitchen setup. The service was also fast. The dishes were overpriced. Overall - Good South Indian food, but a bit pricey! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₹1–200 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

The Filter Coffee, HRBR Layout — A Delightful South Indian Experience The Filter Coffee at HRBR Layout offers an authentic South Indian culinary experience. Their dosa is absolutely delicious — crispy, flavorful, and perfectly paired with chutney and sambar. While I’m a regular at MTR, I must say this place gives it stiff competition. The filter coffee lives up to its name, delivering a rich and aromatic brew that completes the meal wonderfully. That said, the service could use a bit of improvement. A little more attentiveness would elevate the experience further. Nevertheless, for the quality of food and coffee, it’s definitely worth a visit. I’ll be coming back for sure! Rating: 4/5 Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: ₹200–400 Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

Weekend Breakfast Rush – Worth the Wait? If you’re a breakfast lover, this spot serves up a stellar morning spread—but only until 12 PM, so don’t hit snooze too many times! We went on a weekend, and the wait was what you’d expect: anywhere between 40 to 60 minutes, especially if you’re rolling in with a group of 8 like we did. Smaller groups might get lucky with a shorter wait. The process is pretty straightforward. Once you arrive, give your name and group size to the host. You’ll get a number—hang onto it! When your turn comes up, head to the counter, grab a token for your order, and hand it over once you’re seated. From there, it’s about a 10-minute wait before your food arrives. Inside, it’s bustling. Think shoulder-to-shoulder crowded, with the added warmth of an open kitchen. It gets a bit hot, and unfortunately, their sparkling water dispenser was either out of order or gone entirely. Parking? Minimal. Street spots are limited, so plan ahead. We’re already thinking of coming back on a weekday to beat the rush and dig a little deeper into the menu. What we tried: dosa, idli, and pongal—classic, comforting, and totally worth the wait. Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: ₹1–200 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Ghee Roast Paper Masala Dosa, Venn Pongal, Ghee Podi Dosa
