Offer:-Groupon in Deal of RS 499/-
3-Course Meals Include:• 1 Soup• 1 Starter• 1 Main Course• 1 Rice OR Noodle• 2 Iced Tea OR Fresh Lime Water / Soda• 2 Desserts

Ambiance:-

It’s a small restaurant near Oh Calcutta, Looks decent family restaurant with AC section, wooden seats with cushion & table. Place has small fish tank too in one corner, its regular restaurant basically nothing exceptional.

What was ordered?

Fresh Lime Soda Sweet:-

Its regular fresh lime soda served in transparent glass with cap and straw, it had lot of ice cubes in it hence it started tasting more watery after few sips. If kept for more than 5- 10 mins one might not like it.

Manchow Soup:-

Initially when it was served at my table I felt its hot and sour soup, it looked like a watery soup, after few minutes it started getting thick, colour was light brown unlike typical manchow soup which is bit dark, taste was below average as it was non spicy, I had to add bit of salt, had to add little vinegar, chilly sauce and soya sauce as per taste, Normally If one visit’s these sauces are readily available in Chinese corner but here I had to ask for it, also fried noodles were not served proactively, had to ask for it, it goes well with soup.

Paneer Manchurian Dry:-

It had 8 – 9 pieces of average sized paneer manhcurian, I felt quantity was bit less when it was served in plate but it taste well, soft paneer with manchurian flavor & lot of garlic, its good option for those like burnt garlic taste with few chopped spicy green chillies.

Butter Garlic Fried Rice with Gravy:-

Fried Rice had plain rice mixed with carrot pieces, served with sweet and spicy sauce with lot of veggies in it like corn, mushroom, few onions pieces and capsicum. Rice was made well but basic garlic effect was missing, even after telling Vishnu(Chef) clearly about what was I expecting in my meal , I felt it was decent, portion size was good, more than enough for 1 person, can be shared by 2 people in case you are having soup and starter.

Deserts:-

Honey noodles with chocolate ice cream:-

I found name bit interesting but when I got it in plate, it was flat noodles fried with chocolate ice cream half scoop. There was nothing exceptional about it. Honestly wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Service:-

It was almost 5 minutes that I had entered into restaurant and was waiting for my friend, but no one gave me menu or greeted or even asked for water, that was big let down from restaurant side, more over while placing order if I had few questions on gravies I felt staff had no answers. Finally Vishnu (Chef) was called upon to understand or explain what I wanted. Even when bill was given for parcel order which was placed later, it had incorrect amount, I felt they need to be more attentive as I hardly any dine in customer, they had 2 – 3 people as staff but no one interested in attending dine in customer, Lack of attention and casual attitude by staff is all one can sense, resulting in less repeated customer’s.

Price:-

They have good deal Mini Meal @ RS 135/- for Lunch seems good deal, RS 500/- deal with Starter+ 1 Main seems good. Regular Ala Carte menu is marginally overpriced.

Quality & Quantity:-

Nothing exceptional for me to travel all the way from Kandivli To Andheri. I have few better options at Malad rather who serve good Chinese food and at  little better rate. Quantity of Starter was average & for Main Course it is sufficient.
