I visited the critics poetry cafe in trichy for a lunch and had a fantastic experience! The ambiance was elegant and welcoming. The food was delicious with a great variety, and everything was well presented. A special thanks to leethiya he incredibly attentive, friendly, and made sure everything ran smoothly for me . Their service really stood out and added a personal touch to the afternoon. Highly recommend the critics poetry cafe . Great food, excellent service, and a memorable experience overall! The ambience is very enjoyable but the food was so bad. I can't even complain, I just pity them. I don't know if it was because we went in late as a large group; around 9:30pm; but every single dish tasted so old, stale and flavourless that we didn't even try to finish the food. The place is a nice one to chill, lot of old and new books you can purchase. Warm and cozy vibes but sadly not even one dish tasted fresh. Back in Trichy I go to the this coffeeshop(for lack of alternatives) it's quite a nice place if it wasn't for the loud music the girl behind the counter seems to like, beats me why so many people in their reviews wrote about the good ambiance. One positive thing I can say the coffee is good, which I could say the same about the food. Very oily chapati and parata. Also I noticed the collection of books has gone down in quality. In previous years they had internet for their guests, which now doesn't seem available anymore, NO INTERNET, manager says there is a problem with the system, on my laptop it shows full strength internet, what do we make of that????
