Cliff Restaurant, Bavdhan – A Beautiful Culinary Escape for Special Occasions We recently visited Cliff Restaurant in Bavdhan to celebrate my wife’s birthday, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. Tucked inside the scenic Forest Trails Society, this restaurant feels like a quiet getaway — surrounded by greenery, with a soothing atmosphere that instantly puts you at ease. The name “Cliff” is apt — it sits slightly elevated, offering a sense of openness and calm that’s hard to find in the city. We ordered Punjabi cuisine, and every dish we tried impressed us with both taste and presentation. We started with masala papad and paneer tikka. The masala papad was crisp, fresh, and generously topped with finely chopped onions, tomatoes, and a tangy spice mix — a perfect crunchy appetizer to kick things off. The paneer starter truly stole the show. The paneer was incredibly soft and fresh, marinated beautifully in aromatic spices, and grilled to perfection. It had a lovely smoky flavor and just the right amount of char on the edges. Each bite melted in the mouth and left us wanting more — hands down one of the best paneer dishes we’ve had in Pune. For the main course, we went with roti and a Kolhapuri-style sabji. The sabji was rich, bold, and full of authentic Kolhapuri flavors — spicy but well-balanced, with a deep, satisfying masala base. The rotis were hot, soft, and perfectly complemented the sabji. The portion sizes were generous, and the meal left us feeling full and happy. The service was warm and attentive, and the staff made sure we were comfortable throughout. The entire experience — from the tranquil ambiance to the outstanding food — made it a memorable celebration. Whether you're planning a special dinner or just want to unwind over great food in a peaceful setting, Cliff Restaurant is a hidden gem worth visiting. We’ll definitely be going back!

The Cliff in Bhugaon offers a delightful dining experience with its serene ambiance and diverse menu. The open seating arrangement provides an excellent view, making it an ideal spot for a relaxed meal. During our visit, we tried the Khow Suey, a Burmese rice dish. The flavors were well-balanced, and the presentation was appealing. The dish was accompanied by a variety of condiments, allowing for customization to suit individual tastes. The service was prompt and courteous, enhancing the overall dining experience. The Cliff's combination of good food, pleasant atmosphere, and attentive service makes it a recommended destination for those looking to enjoy a meal away from the city's hustle and bustle.
