VERY LESS VEG OPTIONS. Charcoal Restaurant offers a decent dining experience but feels a bit inconsistent. We tried two sizzlers — the grilled paneer (an improvised version of non veg grilled chicken) and the Chettinad sizzler. The grilled paneer was actually quite good and enjoyable, but the Chettinad one didn’t really work for us and felt off in taste. One major drawback is the extremely limited vegetarian options, which was quite surprising. The overall taste is decent, but the preparation and menu variety come across as a bit careless. Overall, it’s an okay place if you’re craving sizzlers, but there’s definitely room for improvement, especially for vegetarian choices and consistency.
