The Chai Story drawes you in with its promise of Rs. 39 cutting chai and other items which are slightly cheaper than what you find elsewhere. The cutting chai was ok though served in a tiny glass, and it did take a long time coming. The lime tea had an excess of ice. There is plenty of seating including in a long window-less alcove at the back. The outlet might have looked great when it was opened but now the seats have stains and dirt on them. The dirty seats didn't even register till I looked at my photos and I realised I've got so used to unhygienic eating areas. If they took a little more care of these issues, it would be a great place to relax after the hustle and bustle of the market.
